We are Bob and Kim Stephens and we live on board Meraviglia, our 1985 Stevens 47. We have logged over 13,000 nautical miles since setting sail in 2023, cruising the Caribbean, transiting the Panama Canal, and crossing the Pacific Ocean. We are currently in New Zealand readying Meraviglia for another cruising season as we continue our circumnavigation.
The miles we’ve sailed have taught us that boats, even older ones like ours, are complicated, fuel systems, engine systems, electrical systems, navigation systems, it’s a lot. We’ve also learned that information is critical not only for safety, but for enjoying offshore sailing.
