Oxford, Nova Scotia – iNav4U, the Nova-Scotia–based marine technology company behind the Zora Yacht Operating System, today announced that it has completely sold out of its initial production run of Zora 3.0, marking a major milestone for the fast-growing company.
Zora 3.0, iNav4U’s next-generation yacht operating system, officially launched last November at METSTRADE and has seen rapid uptake from yacht owners, captains, and service providers seeking a modern alternative to traditional chartplotters and fragmented onboard systems.
“We knew there was pent-up demand for something fundamentally different in the marine space,” said Olivier Hendrikx, Co-Founder of iNav4U. “But selling out our entire Zora 3.0 production run faster than anticipated clearly confirms that the market is ready for a new category of yacht technology.”
Global Chip Shortage Impacts Next Production Run
Alongside this commercial success, iNav4U confirmed that global shortages of high-performance memory components are affecting the timing of its next Zora 3.0 hardware production run.
The worldwide shortage — driven by unprecedented demand from AI data centres, automotive systems, and industrial computing — has constrained availability of the advanced memory components required for Zora’s enterprise-grade onboard servers.
“Zora is not a consumer tablet or a repurposed display,” said Brenda Robinson, Co-Founder and COO of iNav4U. “It is a mission-critical system designed to operate reliably at sea. That means we won’t compromise on component quality, even when supply chains are under pressure globally.”

The sell-out of Zora 3.0 marks a major commercial milestone for the company as iNav4U continues to expand its international dealer network across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, with new regional operations now underway in the Nordic market.
With demand continuing to grow, iNav4U expects to resume hardware shipments as soon as component supply stabilizes.
